Ballantrae Golf Club is a semi-private golf course located in Pelham, just 4 miles east of I-65. Designed by Bob Cupp, this links style course meanders through a scenic valley, surrounded by gorgeous southern woodlands and breathtaking views. Ballantrae Golf Club won national accolades in Golf Digest as the Best New Affordable Public Golf course in 2005 and as one of the Top 50 Courses for Women by Golf for Women Magazine in 2005.
Since 2006, Ballantrae hosted the Alabama Open for three consecutive years. The Alabama Open is an annual tournament that features the top amateur and professional golfers in the state. The course offers five different tee settings ranging from a fun course for juniors, seniors and women of 5,166 yards to a walloping 7,310 yards for the long-hitting, low handicap golfer. We also have a twenty-acre practice center and offer individual and group instruction provided by our PGA professional staff. Our clubhouse features a pro shop, grill and dining area, fireside room and locker rooms for members and guests.
Ballantrae allows only a limited number of club memberships. We are rapidly approaching that total number, so please take advantage of this special soon, before all of the available slots for new members are filled. For additional membership information, please fill out our request form.

You'll enjoy these privileges:
- All daily green fees seven (7) days a week (cart price is $16.00 for 18 holes and $10 for 9 holes)
- Twelve (12) day advance tee time availability (may reserve up to two tee times)
- Charge privileges billed monthly
- May purchase locker in Member only locker room for $100 a year (Limited availability)

Membership Benefits
Individual Membership
- One time application fee of $1,200, then $162.00 per month for (12) twelve months
- Annual renewal fee of $100 billed each year on anniversary date of joining the Club
- May purchase Range Club Membership for $300 a year (see Practice Facilities/link)
Family Membership
- One time application fee of $1,200, then $216 per month for (12) twelve months for up to four (4) family members and $25 for each additional family member with a maximum dues payment of $266 per month
- Family members are considered immediate family which consist of husband, wife and unmarried children under the age of 19 or FULL-TIME college students under the age of 23
- Annual renewal fee of $100 billed each year on anniversary date of joining the club
- May purchase Family Range Club Membership for $440 a year
